Every Tuesday night, we hold Tuesday Night Expressions, which is the Open Mic started to provide a platform as a way of not only addressing our unaddressed mental health needs but as a platform for expression and healing. It is the architecture of poetry that has allowed for everyone from first time microphone holders to people that have pioneered sounds that we listen to everyday. Not only this but our open mic is THE ONLY one that offers a youth portion and is dedicated to community.

As Lace in the critically acclaimed web series, Juicy, I play someone who takes no junk from anyone and that is filled with ambition and power. Not too far fetched from my day to day, minus the violence.
